Bank It for Our Neighbors in Need
November, December 2011        Community Donations: $11,391        Bank Match: $4,000

Recipients
Alva Wesleyan Food Bank
Northwest Family Services

Both organizations help feed and educate our Neighbors in Need. In the month of November, the Food Banks provided food boxes for 172 households. This included over 300 adults and 168 children. The Food Bank allows anyone who is in need of help, to recieve 1 box of food per month. The funds recieved and allocated for this CommUNITY Vision were split evenly between the two participating food banks. Both Food Banks were excited for the aid and praised the Alva CommUNITY and Financial Institutions for their help this holiday season. The funds generated will help community families in need.
