Bank It for Alva Friends of Play
January-March 2012 Community Donations: $6,307 Bank Match: $3,755
Working together for the good of the CommUNITY really can make a difference. The citizens of Alva came together for the Bank It CommUNITY Vision, “Bank It for HaAlva Friends of Play" (Hatfiled Park) and donated over $5,000. The outpour of funds donated to Bank It for the Alva Friends of Play Foundation was AMAZING! During the months of January, February, and March, the Alva Community rallied behind the Hatfield Park Project. The local financial
institutions made the success even sweeter when, Central National bank matched$1500, Alva State matched $1500, Community Bank matched $355 and Hopeton State Bank matched $400. Together, we raised over $9,000! |
Bank It for the Girl Scout Hut
April-June 2012 Community Donations: $6,259 Bank Match: $4,250
During the months of April, May and June, 2012, the Alva community members rallied behind Bank It’s 2nd Quarterly CommUNITY Vision! Citizens donated at each of the Alva Financial Institutions, either by monthly draft, or walking into each facility. Community members from all over Alva donated $5,572 between all 5 local Alva Banks. Alva State matched $1500, BancCentral, NA matched $1500, Community and Hopeton State Bank both matched $500 and High Plains matched $250. What amazing support Bank It has received from these institutions. They are really “Banking It” on Alva. Together the Alva citizens, and Financial Institutions raised $10,109 dollars for ALVA eople, projects, and organizations in need.
Bank It for Northwest Family Services
July-September 2012 Community Donations: $5,318.86 Bank Match: $3,125
During the months of July, August and September, the local financial institutions of Alva and area citizens rallied behind Northwest Family Services as the 3rd Quarter CommUNITY Vision for the BankIt: A Habit of Helping Foundation. Together, the commUNITY raised over $10,300. This is an amazing outpour of generosity from the town of Alva. The funds will be allocated according to the bylaws set up by the Bank It Board of Directors. The organization will receive approximately $6,700 to aid the services provided by Northwest Family Services. The projects and programs offered by NWFS are many. Some include:Tobacco Prevention Program, Outreach Counseling, Emergency Youth Shelter, Early
Childhood Services, Early Intervention Programs for Elementary Children, Parenting through separation and divorce as well as “Within My Reach” Relationship Building Class. BankIt is extremely proud of the services and help this organization provides to our community and proud to have increased awareness as well as funds for this amazing organization. |
Bank It for our Neighbors in Need
October-December 2012 Community Donations: $11,818 Bank Match: $4,015
Working together for the good of the CommUNITY really can make a difference. The citizens of Alva came together for the Bank It CommUNITY Vision. Members of the Alva community donated over $11,000 and around 1000 pounds of
food. The outpour of funds donated to Bank It for the area particiapting food banks was AMAZING! During the months of November and December, the Alva Community rallied behind our Neighbors in Need. The local financial institutions made the success even sweeter when, Central National bank matched $1500, Alva State matched $1500, and Community Bank and High Plains Bank both matched $500. Together, we raised over $15,000! |
